Bussiness Segments -> Forensics
|
Forensic Science covers the areas of science that are relevant to the law.
It is primarily involved in gathering scientific evidence proving that a crime
has occurred, and by whom it was committed. Forensic scientists search for and
examine traces of material which might either establish or exclude an association
between a suspect and a victim or a crime. These traces might include: blood,
saliva, semen and other body fluids, paint, glass, footwear and tyre impressions,
flammable substances and explosives, hairs, fibres and vegetable material.

Though crime scenes and labs are perhaps most often associated
with forensics, there is also computer or network forensics,
forensic accounting, forensic engineering and forensic psychiatry,
among other specialized fields.
EmBiometrix deals with a variety of Forensic Instruments
ranging from AFIS/APIS TO 3D laser scan devices which help the
forensic scientist in solving the crime scene puzzles and ensuring
that criminals are behind the bars and innocents are given their
justice.
